I am ** today!

Today is that day that seems to really bother so many people. It is my 40th birthday. I really don't mind all that much. 40 is a number and numbers do not define the person or how old he/she feels. It really seems to be ok to me. I thought i would wake up feeling all down and out and I woke up with a head cold and decided that I could either languish in bed all day feeling icky or I could get up, pluck that one lone gray hair , grab my bottle of hair dye and turn it around to be a fantastic day! I have not been through a horrible earthquake and lost everything and everyone I love, I do not live in a war-torn country where even acknowledging your birthday is against the law, I am free to be an artist and I am surrounded by people I love and who love me back. LIFE IS GOOD! So, one head full of black azure and purple daze hair dye later and I am getting showered, changed and ready for art class. Love life; it's and adventure and I just bought a virtual plane ticket to the Outback to continue my adventure. Please feel free to join me!
