I'm a mother of two beautiful, talented girls and an artist of photography and mixed media. I change my visual collections as often as I change my hair color...and that's a lot! I fight daily to balance being a mother, a student and a successful artist and this is my journey...

Rainy Day
Once asked what differences I notice in my art from a sunny day to a rainy one, it has caused my to ponder and this is what I have come up with:I notice my colors are brighter and sunnier just like the day on a sunny day although I may feel guilty about being inside and being creative on a day like that. On a rainy day I feel much more creative overall because none of my dogs' soulful eyes are gazing up at me in quiet anticipation of being taken for a leisurely walk on the beach or going outside to roll around in the grass. I get to take my time, my time is my own while the kids are in school and on rainy days I feel no obligation to be anywhere or do anything. I pray for rainy days! LOL
