Happy Post-Thanksgiving/Pre-Christmas Holidays to you!

I assume that everyone had a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving and that you all decided to start your. Christmas or Holiday shopping a little early on Friday morning as is tradition in this country, at least. Well, I had a wonderful family dinner, came home and had a great night's sleep, woke up late on Friday and the family and I did some yard work taking care of out small little urban farm. We cleaned out bunnies cages and even found a whole new nest containing four brand new little baby bunnies!

Are they not the cutest things you've ever seen??? Of course, it's a few days after this was taken and they all have fur now-there are two silvery grey ones, a white one and a solid black one. They are now almost one whole week old! We finally have all the boys separated from the girls so we should be bay free for a bit and Jeremy is in the process of building another bunny hutch that will be attached to the chicken coop and make cleaning and keeping the hay dry muuuuch easier for Hannah and I.
Besides bunnies, we have 9 chickens, three dogs and three cats. It all requires careful balancing and remembering to keep gates closed and doors latched at the appropriate times. Lol
I am spending more and more time out in my studio creating as many things as possible because it relaxes me and makes so very happy. On top of this, Thanksgiving night, my sister-in-law gave me hope. I have been wanting to pursue my Masters degree and then my Doctorate in art but had given up on the plan due to money. She told me about new programs (art) being accepted for Fellowships and so the idea was reborn! I am now signing up for my Masters and after, I shall finish my PhD. Yay! So I awoke at 3:30 am and started to fill out my application. I'll be getting the rest of my paperwork in by the middle of January and, hopefully, be able to start in fall of next year. So, this time next year I will be in the first year of my graduate school! I'm nervous, anxious and scared but totally excited, as school is one of the things I'm really good at. Lol
Until school starts back for me, I'll be continuing to create and create...and hopefully to sell some of my creations and make other people happy. Thank you and happy Holidays to all, 2014.
