Yay Rain!!

     It is finally raining here a bit today and that is definitely helping my allergies out. I go out in the morning to get in my car and my black car is powdery yellow. I have to rinse it before I get in otherwise I turn the air on and--BAM- a face full o pollen and sneezing, itchy eyes and throat and hacking the rest of the day. Ahhhhh Spring has sprung!
     I have made several new handmade books and that is just SO much fun combined with my mixed media and collage work. I am also getting to throw in some of my writings and poetry. I could get used to this art work that makes me happy! Photography alone just doesn't do it...I need the tactile approach of painting and getting all mixed up in the mediums I love. I know I could just as easily do it all in Photoshop but that seems to take something away from the joy of the experience...and I just don't want to be tied to my computer and desk for that many hours per day. I love being in my studio! So does Marbles...who is now learning how to be crate trained for his own safety after eating an entire package of PrismaColor colored pencils and two of my graphite crayons! He has finally started pooping in normal color again. Poor puppy! I still have NOT figured out how he got them off the table as there was no way for him to climb up there and he is still too small to jump. HMMMM. He didn't get sick though and his belly seems to be better!
