New Painting

This is my newest painting that will end up being one of a series of three Halloween paintings that I am doing. I just love her little stitched up face and her mummy wrappings. I used tissue paper on cardboard and dry- brushed acrylics to give it a real gauze texture. I think I will be doing more of my little cigar box paintings. I am even recycling the box tops as canvasses for other paintings. It's been so much fun! When finished it will have a plexiglass cover and there will be some sort of text on the 'glass cover over that empty area.
